Guetta booed for taking #1 spot from Armin

After holding the #1 spot for 4 consecutive years, Armin van Buuren is knocked down to #2 by David Guetta in the DJ Mag Top 100.

This Top 100 is often criticized as being a "popularity contest" and there's no denying that Guetta has the biggest share of fans in this poll.. 

That may explain the booing in this video after Armin announces who the new #1 winner is...

It's quite awkward with all that pyro going off and nobody really celebrating.

Regardless of who anybody felt should have won, booing should be reserved for Halloween! How rude! David Guetta is making some great music, he's managed to do quite well for himself, and he's given a hard time over "going mainstream" .. Don't musicians set out to make music for people to enjoy? Why criticize him for that?

Congrats to David Guetta. Even if it is a popularity contest, he managed to become famous enough to win it! Nothing wrong with that..
