Yung Dumb Halloween

Last week I wrote about the St. John's Mardi Gras. Big crowds, fun, and craziness. Maybe that's not for you?  

Yung Dumb is offering a "cheaper, funkier & friendlier alternative to Mardi Gras" 

If you haven't heard of Yung Dumb, these events started just over a year ago. The DJ's play nu disco / french house type music which I love. Crowd is always awesome, and makes for a great time. Up until Yung Dumb I had never seen or heard anything like this in Newfoundland. It's just too cool! Reminds me of Hed Kandi. 

if you're looking for a good time away from the George Street madness Yung Dumb Halloween is happening on the same night as Mardi Gras (Saturday October 29th). As always, it takes place at Headquarters (208 Water St.) and the party goes 'till 3am. If you show up before 1am cover is only $5 and you'll get some of their $3.50 drinks. How awesome is that? 

Entertainment is provided by Hot Biscuit, Dr. Drake, Casper Touch, Poolside & Lance Wicks.
